“I don’t want the lights to come on. I want to suck you again.”

Brad chuckled and squeezed Kent with his knees. “No way of knowing, is there? I mean, ten hours or one minute.”

“Nope. No way of knowing.” Kent kissed Brad’s chin.

“What will we do if the door suddenly opens and we’re caught like this?”

“Do you give a fuck?” Kent asked. “Are you out?”

“I’m out, yes. But…what if a bunch of secretaries or office clerks caught us?”

Kent pushed his hard cock against Brad’s ass. “Sounds wicked.”

“Are you into exhibitionism?” Brad licked Kent’s face.

  “A little. Could be hot.”

He paused to stare at Kent a moment. “I love the color of your eyes. It’s a good thing I got a peek at them earlier because I can’t tell their color in this weird light.”

  “They’re blue.”

“I know. Perfect.” Brad dug his hand into Kent’s hair.

  “How old are you?”

  “Thirty. You?”

  “Twenty-five.”

Brad heard a noise. “What’s that?”

  “No clue.”

“Christ, our luck this thing will plunge to the basement.”

“It won’t. Do you normally panic at times like these?”

“No. Not normally. Only when I’m stark naked with a nude man lying on top of me on the floor of an elevator in a blackout.”

Kent began laughing. “I like you.”

“I like you too.” Brad drew him back to his mouth. Closing his eyes as they kissed, Brad could feel the tiny box they were in vibrate, or maybe it was his body vibrating with renewed excitement. “You got any lube in that tool box, Mr. Cable-guy?”

“Wish I fucking did.” Kent placed the head of his cock against Brad’s ass.

“I have a rubber in my wallet.” Brad closed his eyes, imagining shoving his hips up and slipping that big dick inside.

  “Is it lubricated?”

  “Yes, but…”

  “Get it.”

At the teasing tone, Brad smiled wickedly. “If I can find my pants.”

  “Find them.”

Brad leaned up on his elbows and felt around the pile of clothing. Meanwhile Kent sat up and popped open his toolbox, rummaging around.

Locating his wallet, Brad opened it up and squinted in the dimness to find the small package tucked behind his credit cards.

  “Bingo.”

“You have something?” Brad stuffed his wallet back into his pants pocket, holding onto the rubber.

“It’s a gel hand cleaner. Really slick stuff.”

“Geezus, do I want that up my butt?” Brad reached for the bottle to get a look at it.

“It’s harmless. Just some of that antibacterial shit.”

Seeing exactly what it was, Brad shrugged. “You think it’ll eat latex?”

  “You do worry too much.”

The minute Kent’s fingers began sliding the slippery gel inside his back passage, Brad stopped worrying. Jerking breaths and whimpering moans were the only communication he was able to produce at the moment.

The condom was taken from his fingertips. Brad was ready for number two. Lights stay off, lights stay off.

“Oh yeah,” Kent hissed as he pushed in.

“OhmyGod.” Brad arched his back and purred.

  “Smooth as glass…perfect.”

As Kent drove in deeper, Brad’s cock throbbed in tandem. “Yes, that’s it. God, I love a good fucking.”

“You’re going to get a good fucking, pretty boy.”

  Brad smiled. “Good.”

A hand on each leg, Kent gripped Brad’s knees and pushed them backwards against Brad’s chest, exposing his ass for a better screwing. As Brad watched, Kent’s gaze was glued to the connection between his legs.

“Yeah. Yeah…” Kent pumped more assertively.

A chill of pleasure washed up Brad’s spine. He moved his hand to his own cock and began stroking it. It seemed the sight of him touching himself sent Kent to a new level. Kent thrust his hips madly, grunting like a wild hound.

The internal massage was perfect. Brad quickened his hand motion and sprayed cum all over his own chest, gasping from the intensity.

“Yeah! Oh, yeah!” Kent plunged in deeply and Brad could feel Kent’s cock shudder inside him as he came.

As they recovered they both moaned in pleasure.

“Geez! I love fucking you!” Kent panted.

“Good, because I love you fucking me.” Brad laughed. “Oh, Christ, this is too funny. Caught in a goddamn elevator and screwing our brains out? Do you see the humor in this madness?”

Giving his cock one last good thrust inside, Kent pulled out. “I do. Are you shitting me?” He started laughing. After he pulled off the condom he asked, “What the hell am I supposed to do with this thing?”

“Stick it in your tool box.”

  “No!”

“Yes! You can’t leave it in the elevator.”

  “Put it in your briefcase.”

“Now you’re being silly,” Brad replied.

“Shit, this sucks.” He gingerly laid the spent condom in with his tools. “My luck I’ll forget it and one of my co-workers will spot it.”

Brad chuckled. “Just say you’re hot with the chicks.”

“Yeah right. That they’d believe.” Kent shook his head.

“No? Your co-workers know you’re gay?”

“They suspect it. I haven’t come out and said I am. It’s none of their business, is it?”

  “No. I suppose not.”

A pause followed and they heard noises from deep below them down the elevator shaft. An engine, a hum of something cranking on? More generators?

“Should we get dressed?” Kent asked. “You think the lights will come on soon?”

Brad wrapped his arms around him and held onto him, inhaling his skin. “One more minute.”

Releasing a deep sigh, Kent closed his eyes and rested on top of Brad. “This is so nice.”

“I know. I wish we were in my bed.” He rubbed Kent’s back and neck.

“We’ll fall asleep. You watch. Then the door will open and I’ll be mooning everyone.”

Brad smiled. “And what a moon it is.”

Chuckling at the comment, Kent nestled his face into Brad’s neck and exhaled deeply. “Will you see me? You know, after this?”

“Yes. Are you kidding me?” Brad caressed Kent’s skin lovingly.

“Good. Very good.” Kent’s body relaxed, weighing heavily against his.

Brad delighted in Kent’s weight. So what if the lights came on and they were discovered. There was nothing wrong with being with a man as beautiful as Kent, was there?

  * * * *

It was still pitch black when Kent opened his eyes. Jolting slightly, he realized he and Brad had fallen asleep. Trying to see his watch in the dim light, Kent hissed, “Christ,” in dismay.

  “What?” Brad moaned groggily.

“It’s been an hour and a half.”

“Really? Maybe we should get dressed. The lights should be coming on soon.”

“We were asleep. It felt so nice to sleep on top of you.” Kent caressed Brad’s face gently. “I can get used to this.” He couldn’t believe how much he liked Brad. It was as if he’d been bitten by the infatuation bug.

To Kent’s delight, Brad leaned up to kiss him.

At the touch of their lips, he felt another spark of arousal. “I don’t want to get dressed.”

Brad ran his hands down Kent’s back to his ass, squeezing it. “Can you come to my place? After this?”

“Yes. I would like that. Very much.”

  “Good!” Brad hugged him.

Slightly nervous they would actually be discovered naked in the elevator, Kent suggested, “We should get dressed. Just in case.”

  “Yes.” Brad nodded.

Kent slid off of him and sat up, staring at Brad as he search
ed the floor for his clothing. “You’re really nice looking. How come you’re single?”

“I just broke up with my partner.” Brad held up something. “My briefs or yours?”

  “Does it matter?” Kent laughed.

“No. Not really.” Brad laughed with him.

“If we get it wrong, we’ll swap at your place later.”

  “True.”

Making his way to his feet, Kent found his own clothing and began sliding his briefs and trousers up his legs. When he had his shirt on and was buttoning it, he glanced up at the tiny emergency light again. “Shit.”

  “What?”

  “Is that a fucking camera?”

Brad spun around in panic. “Oh God. Please tell me you’re joking.”

“I’m not. Do you see a lens? Or am I imagining it?” Kent got to his toes for a closer look. “You think it went out with the power?”

“Holy fucking shit. I hope so.”

“It did.” Kent tried to convince himself. “Yeah. It must have.” On camera? Could what he and Brad had just done be witnessed by someone? No. I’m being stupid.

  They both stared at it.

“No way anyone was spying on us.” Brad shook his head.

“No. We’re just being paranoid.” Kent tucked in his shirt.

“Who cares?” Brad slipped on his shoes. “If they were? So what? Maybe they got off on it.”

“I know I would.” Kent smiled, very glad Brad was there to make him feel good about it.

Once they were dressed, Kent watched as Brad folded his tie and shoved it into his jacket pocket. When Brad had stopped moving, Kent trapped him against the elevator wall again. “Amazing how we met.”

“Something to tell the grandkids?” Brad teased.

“Yes. Exactly.” Kent wrapped his arms around him, holding him. “I’ve been waiting for a man like you.”

  “That’s very flattering.”

“I mean it.” Kent rocked him in his arms.

  “I hope I don’t disappoint you.”

“You won’t.” He kissed Brad’s neck. “My perfect bottom.”

  “Grrr…” Brad nibbled his earlobe.

  “You’ll get us started again.”

“Yeah? So what? What if we’re stuck in here for hours? Or overnight?”

“Damn, I’d just hate that!” Kent teased.

  “Tongue. I need your tongue.”

Kent made for his lips, kissing Brad passionately. It may just be a crazy night trapped in an elevator, but it felt so good! And Brad seemed to be as into him as he was into Brad. He was sick of being single, of one-night stands. He wanted a man in his life. And Brad was one hell of a beauty.

Crossing his fingers behind Brad’s back as he embraced him, Kent said a tiny wish to himself that this was not just a trick of the darkness, and he had found his prince.

“Shit.” Ted looked around their office.

“Power’s out.” Bill flicked the light switch up and down.

“The emergency generator should kick on.”

“It has.” Bill opened the door to the hall. A dim light was glowing.

Ted picked up the phone and dialed. “Yeah, this is Ted Green from the security department. Are the lights out by you as well?”

Bill chewed his lip as his partner rubbed his shaven head while he spoke on the phone, the sparse light reflecting on his mocha skin.

“Yeah. All right. No. Hey, nothin’ we can do. Okay.” Ted hung up.

  “Well?”

  “The whole city is out.”

“No shit?” Bill crossed his arms over his chest.

“No shit. Go get the transistor radio over there.”

Finding it on a dusty shelf near some tools, Bill handed Ted the tiny radio. “Are there batteries in it?”

“There should be.” Ted turned it on and tuned through the static to hear a voice.

“…high sustained winds have knocked out power to over one hundred thousand people in the Los Angeles area…emergency crews are being summoned across county lines…”

  “Sounds bad.”

  Ted nodded. “It does.”

A whirring noise made its way to their office. A dim light lit and the security monitors blinked on.

“I think that was another generator kicking in, right?” Bill asked.

“Yes. There are three of them in the basement. I think they’re on timers so they start up one at a time.”

“Right.” Bill nodded, rubbing his chin. He leaned over the desk to see the picture screens on the five monitors. “Fuck.”

“What?” Ted peered over Bill’s shoulder.

“Someone’s stuck in the elevator.” Bill looked back at Ted for his reaction.

“Oh shit.” Ted squinted at the dim image of two men, one pushing buttons on a panel in vain.

Bill sighed sadly. “Poor guys. Nothing we can do at the moment.”

“I’d call the fire department but my guess is they have their hands full. They look all right in there.” Ted shifted closer to the screen.

Bill smiled sweetly at his partner. “Being an ex-cop you’re too nice to the first responders, Ted.”

Ted laughed. “Yeah, I know. I should pester them like the rest of the general public.”

  “What should we do?”

“Let’s just keep an eye on things. At least the security monitors are working. It’s after five on a Friday and almost everyone’s gone home anyway.”

“You’re the boss.” Bill pulled up a chair and surveyed the five monitors.

“I wonder how many trees are down. It’s going to be hell driving home later.” Ted rubbed his eyes and yawned.

“We should stay on until our relief comes, Ted. We can’t leave the building unsecure in a power outage, can we?”

Ted looked wearily at Bill. “You do realize that may not be until morning.”

A warm tingling sensation washed over Bill at the thought of hanging around with Ted for longer than their usual shift. “I don’t mind. I like working with you.”

“You need a damn life.” Ted chuckled.

“I know. Sorry. I’m pathetic. All I have is this job.” Bill admired Ted’s wide biceps as he stretched his arms over his head in a catlike gesture. And you.

“Why don’t you go out?” Ted asked, folding his hands on his lap. “You’re young, not too damn ugly.”

At the covert compliment, Bill smiled. “I’m shy. I can’t do the club scene.”

“You’re shy?” Ted’s eyes lit up in surprise. “You? Bill Patton? The one who gets drunk at the Christmas parties and sings karaoke?”

“Shut up.” Bill shoved him playfully. It was like moving concrete Ted was so muscular.

After giving Bill a smile, Ted looked back at the monitors. “What the fuck?”

“What?” Bill leaned over his shoulder.

  “Am I seeing things?”

“What?” Bill asked anxiously. “What do you see?”

Ted pointed to one monitor. “I could swear there were two men in that elevator.”

“And?” Bill struggled to make out the dim shapes on the screen.

Ted gripped Bill’s uniform shirt and drew him over to see. “Are they kissing?”

  “What?” Bill’s heart stopped.

In silence they watched. “That can’t be two men.”

Bill could see clearly it was. His body went haywire. “Holy shit.”

“What are they doing?” Ted leaned closer, adjusting the shadowy screen so the image was in better focus.

“Kissing. They’re kissing.” Bill felt his cock twitch and sweat break out on his skin.

“That’s the cable guy.” Ted pointed. “He signed in at the front desk. What the hell was his name?”

  “Wow.”

Ted spun around. “Did you say, ‘wow’?”

Bill gulped audibly. “No. I meant, ew.” Shaking his head in denial, Bill scoffed, “I didn’t say ‘wow’.”

They both focused back on t
he screen. “Oh boy.”

“What?” Bill dragged over the second chair so they were side by side.

  “They’re getting hot and heavy.”

Trying not to blink, Bill stared at the hazy picture tube as clothing began dropping off the men’s bodies. “Are they insane?”

  “Horny! Billy, they’re damn horny!”

Bill rubbed his own crotch at the comment. Ted caught it and asked, “Are you getting off on this?”

“No! Come on, Ted. Getting off? On two guys?”

“Then why are you rubbing yourself?”

“Just an itch. Lay off.” Bill died of embarrassment. The last thing he needed was for Ted to hate him. Not when he was crazy about him.

Ted turned back to the screen. “Here we go. They’re topless now, Billy. My, oh my, what are they going to do?”

“They’ve got balls, Ted. I mean, what if the lights pop back on and they’re in the middle of something.”

“They already are in the middle of something, and we’re going to see very soon if they have balls!” Ted laughed.

Bill licked his lip as the action intensified. “You think they know one another?”

“I have no idea. What do you think? Is this just two horny guys taking the opportunity for some exploration?”

Bill paused as he considered the comment. “Exploration?”

“Yeah. Some man on man shit.”

Another throbbing pulse rattled Bill’s cock.

“They’re going sixty-nine!” Ted gasped. “Sweet mother of God!”

“Holy crap.” Bill squeezed his knees together tightly as his dick grew harder.

They were both glued to the screen. “That thing have audio?”

Ted spun around quickly. “You want to hear their grunts?”

“No. I just figured in case someone needed help.”

As he turned up the volume, Ted replied, “By the look of it, they don’t need anyone’s help.”

  “Ah! Oh!”

“There. Is that what you wanted to hear?” Ted laughed.

“Jesus. They’re really going at it.” Bill stuffed his hands between his knees as the urge to come became stronger.

“Amazing what people will do in the dark.”

As he leaned closer to the screen, Bill got a whiff of Ted’s cologne or aftershave. All he could see from the camera angle was the man on top, rocking his hips wildly. “He’s got to be about to blow.”
